PT Transjakarta Distributes Masks and Hand Sanitizers to Its Customers

Aid distribution is done gradually to our customers in all bus stops

PT Transjakarta began distributing two-layer cloth masks and hand sanitizers at Harmoni and Tosari bus stops, Central Jakarta in an effort to prevent the coronavirus (Covid-19) from further spreading.

It has been done since Thursday (4/9) until Monday (4/12). Its distribution involves UMKM, Dana Pembaca Foundation, Kompas, Smartfren, Karoseri Trisakti, Mercedes Benz and Zhongtong Mobilindo.

"We have 7,000 masks and 500 hand sanitizers. The numbers will continue to grow to be distributed," expressed PT Transjakarta Acting Director, Yoga Adiwinarto, Friday (4/10).

Similar action would also be done in the following days. They also prepare liquid soap to wash hands in portable sinks in all Transjakarta bus stops.

Corporation and Public Relations Secretary Division Head Nadia Diposanjoyo added it is support for the government in an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19 and for Large-Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB), which are effective today.

"Aid distribution is done gradually to our customers in all bus stops," she stated.
